We stayed at KonkanTrip Beach Resort a week ago and it was a very memorable experience.

A little about the host/owner
• Amit was extremely receptive to our needs. He... read more made sure that our culinary preferences were taken care of.
• He has tried his best to make his resort more environmentally friendly by incorporating herbal toiletries, rainwater harvesting, solar heater etc.
• Hires locals to help him run the resort. you can see a high level of respect when he interacts with them.
• The last cyclonic storm devastated the approach road and a bit of the resort, it also threw back tons of garbage that people throw in the sea... Amit without the assistance of the local authorities has tried his best to clean up the beach himself and by hiring a JCB to help consolidate the rubbish so that it can be handled by local rag pickers. He’s trying to ensure that the surroundings are favorable to nesting sea turtles.
• You'll see him tirelessly working from 6:30am to 11:45pm ensuring that guests are comfortable.
• He is fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi and is a great conversationalist.

A little about the resort
• Very close to the beach and has a lot of privacy.
• A very quiet space. you can hear the waves if you keep the balcony doors open.
• Families/Couples will find this area very safe to stay.
• The rooms are very spacious and have all the modern amenities you would expect from a resort of this size and they are cleaned/sanitized every day.
• Wi-Fi Up/Down Speeds are very good.
• Rooms have individual air conditioners.
• TVs have DTH connections.
• Hot Water on demand.
• Delicious local cuisine.
• Spacious dining area.
• Plenty of space within the resort - used for bon fires / birthday celebrations/ parties.
• Servers/Domestic help all wear masks.
• Bottled water available.
• Plenty of parking.

Since the approach road was bust Amit had one of his helpers bring us via the Palande beach route... have fun riding your 2 wheelers on sand... def a fun experience.

Food made to everyone's individual taste, variety, quantity and spread ( and timing !!) Most authentic Sole kadi, Chaas, Pohe, Alu Vadi, zunka, bhakar, poli, and many more... (I kept the fish for the last !!!)

Wake up, stroll, eat, sleep, wake up, play, eat , drink, eat again, chat, use unlimited free WiFi ( in each room ), chat with your group, go to the sea, go up the hillock, comeback hungry, eat, drink, sleepdid I miss out anything.!!!

Local sightseeing options are there and Amit can organise the transport as per your group size and distance covered. Warning !!! the roads are really bad, use your own sedans or bigger vehicles. Amazing facts : this place has produced 4 Bharat Ratnas ( don’t fall of your chairs !!!), light house, observation points and platforms, cashew nut factories ( only good in summer ), temples, but keep all these for another visit ( you will be compelled to ).this time just chillcontemplate, introspect, get pampered and pamper your group.

This place is good for small groups, not exceeding 20-25. After all we don’t want to break their back, we need personalized service.

Rates: for humanity's sake don’t bargain with them. Their rates are already so low and reasonable, negotiating with them will make you look small when you later see their service , accommodation and food. Just accept , go get adopted by this wonderful family, have a true HOMESTAY More

  Amit is an excellent host. The resort location is right on beach. The food was tasty. Both Veg and Nonveg members of my friends and family loved it out... read more and out. We were a group of 14 friends and family travelled together including kids and we had great fun. We had sea food on all days, music night, barbecue night and bonfire on both nights. Amit even promptly helped to arrange a doctor visit early morning for a kid who was not feeling well. He took care of whatever best possible of our small or big requests. Recommended if you are visiting beaches in Dapoli. 5 star from my side.
